The Project: Biblical Worldview
OVERVIEW:
In the last several centuries, Christianity in the West has faced ever-increasing levels of skepticism and opposition. Part of this skepticism rose through the permeation of Enlightenment philosophies, as brilliant men, women, and cultural groups adopted ideological systems attempting to explain the world without God. But part of the contention germinated out of the lackluster lives of supposed Christians with sub-par character and scholarship, best known for condemning the actions of others while offering little positive societal change.
The problem lies not in the inability of the Christian belief to stand against divergent or opposing philosophies. Nor is it a lack of power of the Gospel to transform lives, society and ultimately existence itself. The problem is rooted in the fact that most Christians adopt a personal, purely religious, moral-centric set of beliefs instead of understanding and embracing the Biblical worldviewBiblical Worldview, God’s holistic system encompassing both faith and all human and physical existence.
This section of the Project will uncover and explain the Biblical worldviewBiblical Worldview and the mystery of the Biblical storyline as it pertains to the world and humanity. Using biblical history, theological principles and concepts, etymology, symbolism, subtext, hermeneutics and other tools, the Project will illustrate the fundamental assumptions of this worldview and unlock its practical significance. Combining the Biblical text with the objective truths of physical existence will unearth life-altering strategies and solutions that are even more objective and transformative today than they were at the time the original text was written.
Competing worldviews and philosophies will be examined, and societal, physical and psychological impact (positive and negative) will be detailed. The Project will not merely prove Christianity to be the most effective ideology or religious system, but objectively uncover that the Biblical worldviewBiblical Worldview is the only true worldview of existence. Existing, acting, and solution-providing through this worldview will produce a culture, society, and global world of such vital and wondrous magnitude that “every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
